What's next for Portugal trip

so we did a lot of traveling, we drove almost 2100+ kms (1305 miles) across Portugal however our list is not over yet. There is so much to do that even 2.5 weeks were not enough.


We would love to visit Portugal again and if you are planning a second trip to Portugal and has already covered all things I listed in various posts, here are some more of the things you can do:

  1. Evora - Chapel of Bones, Olive oil tasting at Amor é Cego (walk around the Olive groves and see 2000 years old Trees that still yield olive oil), Cork Oak tours are the things on top of my list.

  2. Cascais - Old center of Cascais, Boca do Inferno, Praia do Tamariz and museums.

  3. Nazare - O Sitio, Giant waves of Nazare, Nazare Beach, Funicular from beach to the Cliffs, walking tours of picturesque buildings.

  4. Azores - Sao Miguel, Pico Mountain, Poco da Riberia do Ferreiro, Algar do Carvão, Tour of Tea factory.

  5. Madeira - Botanical Garden, town of Funchal, go for Madeira wine tours.

  6. Braga - This is one of Portugal's oldest cities. Bom Jesus do Monte, Braga Cathedral, Praca da Republica, Garden of Santa Barbara, Raio Palace, Churches and Cathedrals.

  7. Guimaraes - Palace of the duke Braganza, Historic, Guimaraes, Guimaraes Castle, Monte de Penha, Largo da Oliveira, Museums and Churches.

  8. Duoro Valley - Only for the love of wine, would love to visit some of the famous wine houses like - Quinta da Pacheca (one of the oldest estates), Quinta da Roeda, Quinta das Carvalhas and many many more...

The list is endless, the more I research, the more I feel, there is so much more to do. I really hope you get to enjoy and have fun in Portugal.
